Summer Day Camp

Summer Day Camp at Lark began in 2006, after Lark relocated to its new facility. The camp is comprised of a variety of extra-curricular activities designed for children ages 5 through 12.

Pleasurable and easy hands-on activities and workshops are offered in the fields of music, dance, theater, visual arts, hand crafts, poetry, and chess, all preceded by a healthy physical education period every morning at Fremont Park. Children are offered a variety of classes that hone their skills and provide them with artistic challenges in a fun and exciting environment.

Small classes with a low student-to-teacher ratio ensure each student a great deal of personal attention and support.

The day camp ends at 4:00 pm. A sign-out sheet will be available for parents at the end of each day. Parents wishing to pick up their children after 4:00 pm are asked to make special arrangements with the administration.

Food is included in the weekly fees. Homemade style meals are prepared by chef and dedicated parents.

Ingredients are healthy and nutritious. Besides breakfast and lunch, snacks and beverages are offered free of charge throughout the day. NO ADDED SUGARS OR CORN SYRUP.

Children are supervised by counselors who are trained and devoted to the children’s welfare. Counselors are high school/college students or recent graduates of Lark Conservatory. CPR and First Aid Certified counselors are also on duty every day.
